About YCEP

Welcome to YCEP 2026 — a programme designed to introduce participants to foundational and intermediate cybersecurity concepts through structured training, guided practical sessions, and a competitive Capture-the-Flag (CTF) challenge.

Held by NullSec, the Cybersecurity Special Interest Group of Ngee Ann Polytechnic.

Event Details

  • Dates 16 – 18 June 2026
  • Hours 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Days 1–2), until 6:00 PM (Day 3)
  • Meals Lunch all 3 days; dinner on Day 3
  • CTF Finals Top 15 qualify for Central CTF on 27 June 2026

Wear comfortable attire and covered shoes suitable for a full day of training.

Compliance

All participants must adhere to Singapore laws, including the Computer Misuse Act, Cybersecurity Act, and intellectual property regulations.

Cybersecurity Conduct

Do not access systems without authorisation. Tools provided during the programme must only be used within the approved scope. No malware distribution, phishing, or impersonation.

Code of Conduct

Be respectful of others. Maintain academic integrity. Follow NP's Code of Conduct and IT Acceptable Use Policy. Report issues to organisers immediately.

Enforcement

Violations may result in removal from the programme, disqualification from CCTF, disciplinary action by NP and/or SPF, and reports to relevant authorities.
